Hey,

Your post deals with the same issues in a similar manner to mine - Hegemony of the “Fair Skin – European Looks” Beauty Concept I (http://mahagraha.wordpress.com/2007/12/14/hegemony-of-the-%e2%80%9cfair-skin-%e2%80%93-european-looks%e2%80%9d-beauty-concept-i/)

Anyway your view on 'democracy' is interesting. What do you mean by the "concept of Democracy".

All this reminds me of Francis Fukuyama's - The End of History. He said that western based capitalism and liberal democracy will triumph over all ideologies and systems (which he puts all of these into - 'history').

I wonder if not democracy (as it is defined by Fukuyama), then what will be the alternative?

Greetings. A lot here for one to ponder. One thing that's transpiring; something which most disregard, is that the world is being melded into a single entity. The bible talks extensively about a global kingdom in the last days which will remain for a short season before Jesus returns. I have no idea as to your thoughs on such matters, however the events of today were prophesied in the book of Daniel and are detaied further in Revelation. Events which, prior to the age in which we live, would have been logistically impossible, but are now coming to pass at an ever-accelerating pace.

Sorry for rambling; I was just surfing the blogs and I found yours quite by accident. Nevertheless, you got me to thinking about some things. Thanks for sharing your insights.

[...] Rigg wrote an interesting post today onHere’s a quick excerpt My class today was about Asian Journalistic Values, and those of the Western ones. It got me thinking (putting aside Journalism) that Asian values, and the Western values are playing a social tug of war. So far, the West has a big lead.
