Indonesia and Malaysia: The Sex, The Porn, The Discovery
Sex.
My friends’ resolutions for the year 2008 have been consistent with the previous year.
Abstaining from sex, and getting it.
Yes, they failed.
Many would think this is a great challenge, and I am not going to contest that fact.
It is a challenge.
For some people, it’s a matter of choice. To many, it is a matter of circumstances.
It has been a crazy sexual start in my surrounding on 2008.
A long lost friend has mentioned that he was attending a sex ‘gathering’ at a friend’s house.
Another one of mine has made a sex appointment with a mutual friend.
Others are hunting for it.
Malaysia has managed to start her year with a very prominent sexual scandal.
I was searching around the net for many sex materials, especially those that concern the social circles around the South East Asia.
Thailand is no surprise for its role in sex. It is South East Asia’s fledgling sex warrior.
My research came to a shocking, and humorous result when I found a site that is dedicated to the rising Independent-Porn industries in Malaysia, and especially Indonesia.
The site is named www.videokita.net

The site’s name as many of my audience would know translates to ‘Our Video’
An interesting name I should say.
While Malaysian, and Indonesian Cultural Councils are spitting fire to each other.
Indonesian, and Malaysian Sex Councils are spitting ’something else’ to each other.
I logged onto the website, and even tried to become a member to explore its wonders.
You have to pay a reasonable sum of money to access those videos. This maybe unfortunate to many people who find local sex a turn on.
You can easily sign up as a member, but without cash, you can’t access.
Another interesting about the site is that, all the videos are made by amateurs. Mostly using cellular phones to record their sexual activities.
These amateurs then contributed the video to this site, which then allow them to gain automatic membership to view other sex videos.
A smart move I should say.
Most of the videos are from Indonesia, with Malaysia following. All of them are mostly in 3gp. format.
Total videos: 527
Indonesian vids: 457
Malaysian vids: 70
Total duration: 20:14:38
Total content: 2169 MB
The most downloaded sex video is not surprisingly from Malaysia, titled “Beautiful Malay”.
I guess Malaysia should shift their focus to making Porn videos, rather than concentrating on its consistent old-fashioned music industry.
I went on further research to find out the roles of sex in the biggest Muslim country in the world, and her Muslimized neighbor.
The facts are not surprising, yet it isn’t expected.
Here are the report from Google Trends of 2007:
- Indonesia ranked #4 to search for the word Sex on Google.
- Indonesian language is ranked number #2 in relation to sex search.
- Indonesia stands at #1 for the word Homosex on Google.
- Indonesian language stands also at #1 for the search of Homosex.
- Johor Bahru in Malaysia, ranked #1 in the search of the word Gay Sex (whole Malaysia).
- Johor state ranked #1 in the search of the word Sex (whole Malaysia).
- Batu Pahat, Malaysia scored first place in the search of the word Free Porn (whole Malaysia).
The results are fun, but not entirely surprising.
I went of further research, and found many sites that mention Muslim countries dominate the charts for viewing/search of sex-related material.
Now, that’s interesting.
As conservative as my political standing may be, I am not one of those people that condemn the availability, the concept, and the usage of porn.
It does not mean that I support underage sex. Lines need to be drawn.
I think Porn Industry is a very promising industry that could contribute to a bump in the national economy.
I also think that prostitution is another industry that should be legalized. Not only it is widely WANTED, it also allows the government to have much better control, and power over its people.
Government would then be able to understand the sexual behavior of its people. To monitor progress in the spreading of STDs, and possibly slow down the rate, and it creates social transparency between the people, and the government.
Coming from Indonesia, or Malaysia, I would be condemned to say this. Especially, if I had the title as a politician.
Although, I am sure it is a great idea.
To the fact also, we are already swarmed by women from China (my friend calls them MIC - Made in China) who work as prostitutes in our countries. It’s obvious that it is happening, but many people choose to turn a deaf ear, and a blind eye over this fact.
Anyway, it has gotten late. I should go, and get myself some rest.
Have a great weekend to all of you.

mana hot sex nya
Maaf bang, bukan disini. haha.
Kenapa kok bisa begitu Pak? Tolong kajiaannya.
Hello there,
Wow, I guess this is not surprising me at all.
Ever heard about human will always like to find or do something that they are prohibited to? I think this is it. As Muslim’s countries there should be much rules in this and that.
But, for other countries, I might say that sex is just in front of their eyes. Sex, porn etc is just been an easy usual thing which make them may say..”why google?”. So, I think this is 1 of the reason why Indonesia is in 4th rank and so on. ( But, dont get me wrong here, I’m not saying that those countries should change their rules n law or what so ever. Just sharing thought of why is this happening)
Cheers.
